About our markets
With around 20 stalls, the Made Bradford market is great fun and offers shoppers original goods at great prices. Come and experience our stalls of handmade goodies produced by local artists, crafters, designers and producers. Our creative traders offer a wide variety of products including art, photography, fashion, jewellery, accessories and home wares as well as a great range of food.
You will find us at our current Oastler Square Location.
For full details of how to become a trader please see the ‘Trader Information’ section of this website, where you’ll find the Membership Form, which needs to completed and submitted before booking.
Dates for 2017
Please note bookings should be placed through Eventbrite once your membership has been approved, please do not make any payments before you have written (e-mail) approval of your ability to trade.
The current dates are (more will be added soon):
As we want to provide an ever-changing market that offers a great variety of original work that is appealing to shoppers and gives traders a great opportunity to sell, we will place restrictions on the numbers of similar ‘trader types’ at each market, as follows:
Creative Produce (food): 8 stalls – if the food you are looking to trade has a strong aroma please ensure you advise us of this when submitting your membership as we will need to ensure that no traders with fabric based goods are allocated a stall in close proximity.
Candles and/or melts: 3 stalls – these must be self-produced, not bought in, and must carry a (Classification, Labelling & Packaging) CLP label
Jewellery: 5 Stalls – as long as all 5 are deemed to be sufficiently different
Fabric based homewares: 4 stalls – this includes bunting
We reserve the right to add other restrictions, at any time, should it be considered that there is too much similarity between stallholders of other disciplines.
As Bradford Council are helping us with the initial start-up costs of hosting these markets we can offer stalls at the following price:
A whole gazebo with two tables (where either can be removed): £30
Please be aware that stall prices will increase (probably by around 50%) when the Council subsidy falls away after April.
