Our registered address is: Made Bradford, Assembly Bradford, Market Pavilion, Rawson Place, Bradford, BD1 3QQ
We are here for original artists, crafters, designers and creative food producers and for anyone looking to buy something original and that little bit different in Bradford City Centre.
We provide a high quality street market in the centre of Bradford and are working closely with our friends at Bradford Council, Bradford Trident and at Artsmix, to bring a unique and exciting shopping experience in the heart of our city, dovetailing with other creative events taking place in town. The market will run on Daley and Bank Street, close to the Kirkgate Shopping Centre and the former Marks & Spencer’s site that is now one of the East Street Arts creatives hubs and which on the 18th of March will once again be housing the very popular ‘Wild Woods’ event.
We only host producers of original work, so shoppers can be guaranteed not to find anything at our market that would be readily available in high street shops.
Whether you’re a creative person producing something original from home or trading from an existing site in the City Centre our market could be a great additional shop window for you to promote and sell to the many people in the city who might just be looking for something a little different. So why not come and join in the fun – with around 20 stalls there’s plenty of variety and something for everyone – take a look at our developing Facebook page too, where there’ll be more images of our fabulous traders, giving a better idea of what goes on.
About Made Bradford
Made Bradford has grown from the passion of a number of independent creative people in Bradford, people from all different walks of creative life, from artists to architects, bakers to jewellers, independent shop owners to graphic designers, event organisers to photographers and plenty in between. People who, along with Bradford Council, wanted to celebrate what’s great about our local producers and who want help creative people showcase their talent and make their way financially. Hence the trading opportunity that is ‘Made Bradford’, a street market that will compliment and add to the existing shopping offer in town, something that will enhance other creative activities or can stand alone as a great attraction in its own right. To achieve this we are also working with Artsmix, who despite trading largely in Leeds are based here in Bradford, and have many years of experience in open air arts, crafts and produce market trading.
We have 2 directors who deal with all legal, governance and development matters as well as the day to day organisation to ensure we offer a professional market, that’s fun to be a part of and provides a quality offer of original creative goods and produce to Bradford shoppers. Though as we work very closely with our family of traders the true ‘team’ is really much, much larger. Equally if you are someone who might like to play a part (large or small) in the development of Made Bradford moving forward please let us know, working collaboratively is what we’re all about.
